Cala d'Or is one of the most important tourist centers in the south east of Mallorca. A large pedestrian area runs through the village, here you find numerous restaurants, bars and shops. During summertime a lively nightlife takes place in many discotheques and clubs. Cala d'Or has lovely beaches which are located within and outside the village. A further highlight is the impressing Yacht Harbor of Cala d'Or with its great number of moorings for yachts, sailing- and motorboats. The Club Nautico has just been finished with splendid services which combine gastronomy, shops for all nautic necessities and a spa. Cala d'Or also has an old part, which, despite of its proximity to the pedestrian area, is wonderfully calm and quiet. Here you can walk along the houses in Ibizencan style with well kept gardens full of lovely flourishing bushes, trees and palms. Vall d'Or Golf is approx 10 minutes drive by car and Palma Capital and the international Airport approx. 45 minutes.
